Wishlist for Travel Items

Support Our Travelers

There are a number of items our clients need to make travel more convenient. You can support our cause with a purchase from our Amazon Wish List that ships directly to us. Or if you have a comparable item on hand to donate, you can mail it to us or arrange for pickup from your porch in the Dallas or Houston area by calling 833-903-SAFE (7233) or email help@familiestofreedom.org

These are the items we currently need the most:

• Small travel blankets
• Small travel size packs of tissues
• Toothbrushes (single pack)
• Travel size toothpaste
• Travel size deodorant
• Travel size body wash (not bar soap)
• Small nail clippers and nail files
• Packs of gum
• Combs and hairbrushes (new)
• Ankle socks (new) preferrably colored
• $10 food gift cards: McDonalds, Subway, Wendy’s, Chic-Fil-A, etc.
• Accessories: jewelry, perfume, unopened cosmetics, etc.
• Individually wrapped travel snacks: granola bars, cracker snacks, chips, cookies, etc.
• Purses & Handbags - good condition, not broken/torn
• Pet carriers - small and large
• Individually wrapped or sample size dog and cat food cans/pouches/bags
• Juice pouches/boxes
• Compact car or family van (see our page on donating a vehicle)
• Rolling office chair
• Printer paper

*These would be given to those going by bus or flight. We don’t give kids coloring books going by car to avoid marker and crayon marks in a vehicle.

These are the items we cannot accept at this time:

• Bars of soap
• Clothing and shoes - We have no space to store these
• Furniture and household items- We have no space to store these
